Contract Position (US based, Remote)

About the Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Industry Initiative Lead  who will facilitate multi-stakeholder strategy and program development and management of an industry-wide Initiative and Pilot Program  that is pioneering the development of new technologies and systems for the circular fashion industry through digitization and recycling. Leveraging Eon’s Connected Products Platform and CircularID Protocol, the industry-wide Pilot Program will introduce digital identification technology into apparel garments to enable the identification, sorting and recycling of garments/textiles at scale.

 

The Industry Initiative Lead will represent Eon’s role (as the technology partner) in the initiative, and will be responsible for communicating with other Initiative Members and facilitating the multi-stakeholder coordination for initiative strategy development and deliverable management. The Industry Initiative Lead  will work cross-functionally with Eon technical and client and strategy teams throughout the project period  to implement the Eon technology into the Pilot Program. The  Industry Initiative Lead and will be the main contact with brands, retailers, recycling partners, sorters and digital ID vendors for the successful oversight and management of global Industry-wide  Initiative and Pilot Program.

Key Responsibilities (How you will contribute)

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the primary project manager and facilitator between Eon and Industry Initiative; work cross functionally and cross industry with Supply Chain, Product Sustainability/Circular Economy, Technology, Ecommerce and Digital Technology teams; with Brand/Retailer, Recycler, Sorter and Digital Identifier organizations

  • Plan, execute and evaluate pilot program through five stages of implementation: 1) Research, 2) Planning, 3) Engagement, 4) Execution and 5) Evaluation

  • Develop and maintain project plan; oversee the execution of the project plan and timelines, and track execution activities

  • Communicate status to stakeholders and pilot program partners  and ensure their needs are met, and lead cross functional collaboration including Supply Chain, Product Sustainability/Circular Economy, Technology, Ecommerce and Digital Technology teams for implementation 

  • Liaise with internal cross functional teams to leverage expertise where applicable

  • Be an expert on our technology solution, and how it can deliver value for brands and retailers

  • Quarterly grant management and reporting against KPIs and deliverables

  • Oversee the development and maintenance of stakeholder documents such as meeting agendas, documenting discussions, presentation decks, kick off materials  and other client communications and correspondence

Key Skills, Abilities And Experience Required

  • 7+ years experience in related industries, including apparel, technology, sustainability or circular economy; with a focus on recycling or sorting technologies for fashion

  • Industry collaborative and facilitation experience across a wide range of stakeholders and partners

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of a company and organization, including executive and C-level

  • Excellent organization and time management skills

  • Ability to work as part of a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize essential activities, and meet deadlines

  • Must be proficient in G-Suite (Google Drive, Gmail, Google Docs) and Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.

  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana, Salesforce, Slack is a plus. 

  • The employee must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
