Vice President, People Operations
We are seeking an experienced VP of People Ops to work closely with our senior leadership team to design and implement company programs and policies that foster a positive long-term personal and professional experience for all staff. This is a strategic role requiring supervisory expertise of the administrative functions of HR along with wisdom and experience in strategizing and implementing a contemporary people leadership program. This position reports to the Chief Strategy Officer and works in close collaboration with the Executive team which comprises the CEO and CFO.

Strategic planning and growth: As a member of the Senior Leadership team, the VP of People Ops will help guide the evolution of our company vision by building our people operations in support of company growth. This involves continuously envisioning the future state of EON and how we can best serve our staff, including formulating EON’s workplace location strategy.
Company culture and employee engagement: You will be responsible for finding, developing, motivating, and retaining the team at EON. You will work with all staff to define and protect the company culture. The VP of People Ops is responsible for connecting with staff, assessing opportunities and fostering an inclusive culture by designing strategies to influence the organic proliferation of an intentional culture, centered around connectivity, diversity, community, and expertise.
Recruiting, Onboarding and Retention: The VP of People Ops is responsible for developing our recruiting pipeline through active and passive recruiting strategies, enabling hiring managers to move quickly through the applicant review and selection process, and negotiating offers with candidates. You will have strategic responsibility for continuous improvement of the onboarding experience for all new employees in their first year, and for an ongoing retention strategy that enables our staff to develop and flourish throughout a long-term career with EON.
Benefits, compensation & compliance: The VP of People Ops will be responsible for all human resources related activities, working in close collaboration with the CEO, CFO and CSO to manage the compensation and benefits strategy for the company. This includes level-setting for staff performance, leading the annual evaluation process, and developing the methodology used to measure and compensate for performance at all levels of the company. The VP of People Ops is responsible for ensuring compliance with government policies and programs, including FMLA, unemployment, workers compensation, etc. since EON employees are present across multiple states.
